Activists Protest Outrageous Ruling Denying Mumia the Right to Show Any New Evidence. Ever.

Saturday, April 1, 2023: Word spread quickly from Philadelphia to across the world of Judge Clemons’ denial of Mumia Abu-Jamal’s hearing. Judge Clemons ruled Mumia cannot show recently discovered evidence of his innocence hidden by the Prosecution for 38 years! See more photographs of demonstrations.

NYC Day after Emergency Protest!

Tee reports, “We met in Union Square which was filled with people and stood as an intergenerational group of comrades coming together in solidarity for our beloved brother Mumia, including members from … a lot of groups. We had a beautiful surprise appearance by long-time Mumia Freedom Fighters Larry Holmes and Brenda Stokley who were fired up and ready to go! We chanted Brick by Brick, Wall by Wall we’re gonna Free Mumia Abu-Jamal! and others that captured the attention of onlookers. People stopped to take photos, talk to us, and take flyers to learn more. The sun even came out to bless us–so the energy was quite amazing!

Judge Clemons, your sons could be Mumia Abu-Jamal. Don’t let Mumia be separated any longer from his heartbroken, loving family.
