Friday, March 31, 2023: Judge Lucretia Clemons of the Court of Common Pleas for Philadelphia has just ruled today against Mumia Abu-Jamal. Despite the Prosecution illegally hiding countless BOXES of evidence from Mumia Abu-Jamal and his Defense Team for over 40 years — that the Prosecution still hasn’t finished turning over — Judge Clemons has said that none of the evidence matters because Mumia would have been convicted anyways!
This incredibly preposterous ruling needs to be started again. Judge Lucrecia Clemons has ruled that no matter what evidence the prosecution illegally withheld — and still has not turned over — it would not prove Mumia Abu-Jamal is anything except guilty beyond a reasonable doubt! Judge Clemons did not explain how she developed the ability to see documents not yet turned over to the defense, read the minds of jurors who had not seen this evidence, or know how a legally selected integrated jury would react to the evidence. Apparently, she has developed God-like powers to foresee the past, the future, and into parallel universes playing out all different scenarios. Or, more likely, Mumia Abu-Jamal is again denied his right to a fair trial.
The struggle now turns to Philadelphia District Attorney Krasner. Join us for a day-after demonstration at his office Three South Penn Square (Corner of Juniper and South Penn Square, across from City Hall), Philadelphia. See map.

“Mumia is the community, Mumia is the world movement, Mumia is the heartbeat when we talk about revolutionary thinkers, and you know, Mumia represents all that are in prison. Mumia’s story as a political prisoner is the story of your family members and your friends who are being held behind bars from a racist system. So we’re not stopping , we’re not stopping at all.”

Today at 4:08 pm, March 31, 2023, Common Pleas Court Judge Lucretia Clemons denied Mumia Abu-Jamal’s request for a new trial.
This is simply devastating news.
After 43 years in prison, Mumia Abu-Jamal has exhausted nearly all of his avenues for relief.
Make no mistake: Justice required that Mumia Abu-Jamal be given a new trial.
