About Mumia’s Eyes

Mumia’s eyesight is endangered. He is experiencing irreversible vision loss that can lead to permanent blindness. His sight is threatened by two condition which are correctable. The Pennsylvania Dept. of Correction and its contracted health care “provider” Wellpath have allowed his vision to deteriorate to the point that he is functionally blind. The prison is slow walking him info blindness by delaying (for months) his treatment for his post cataract condition AND the recently diagnosed diabetic retinopathy.
